Despair took our souls. The pit of despair is not a friendly place, For once you are there you may never leave. While you’re in despair you will know pain, For you will be tortured for days on end. Despair is hard, impossible to escape, it drained the beauty from our life, degrade us and broke our strongest faith & hope.. for more than two years. We try so hard to stay positive and trust God 100% of the time but when one thing after another fails, go wrong.. not small petty things, but serious relationship problems, infidility, innocently being locked up, vehicle brake downs (every time along the road) with the repair costs into the thousands, being persuit by people in a foreign country because we are ex-pats and they win due to bribery? PLUS much more persecution from our debt places in SA... This all happening 3 or more at a time, for constantly two years now. The feeling of utter hopelessness has already consumed us and became part of our personality. We can go from being reasonably happy one second, to utter despair the next. IN JUST ONE SECOND!!! How can we stop it from happening? I can't expect God to do anything for me if I have these shifting feelings, So we might as well stop praying because it's a sham, and God knows it. How can He let us to fall into despair yet keep our faith? We CAN'T! It's a depression so deep and black, that we are at the bottom before we have a chance to cry, "Lord, help me!" Why is God doing this to us? Why did God forsake us, is this life we lead Maybe His will.
